The hand & wrist are complex and highly specialized structures that connect our bodies to the world around us.    The hand is made up of bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles, nerves, skin, and blood vessels which must all be in good working order for the hand to function normally.  When the intricate relationships betweenthese structure are affected by injury or disease, patients’ work and recreational activities can be severely affected.

When the function of the hand or wrist has been affected, Dr. Parikh is ready to listen to your concerns, identify the underlying problem, and design an individualized treatment plan to help get you back to work and life.   Dr. Parikh employs the latest medical therapies, minimally-invasive techniques, and surgical procedures to achieve the best possible results for his patients.

In addition to his board certification in plastic & reconstructive surgery, Dr. Parikh completed fellowship training in the treatment of hand & wrist problems at the Curtis National Hand Center in Baltimore, Maryland.   He has subspecialty certification in surgery of the hand, and currently serves as Chief of Hand Surgery at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA.
